What time does it start?

The ceremony will start at 4PM. Please be sure to come early to say hi to the resident peacocks and to sip on your welcome drink & snack!

Are children allowed?

YES, OF COURSE. We looove all your little ones. Due to many factors including limited space, we respectfully request that you only bring children that are included on your invitation. Please ensure that you are RSVPing for everyone in your party.

Rad! But, what about plus ones?

If you have received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please ensure that you are RSVPing for yourself AND your guest. Unfortunately, due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitations.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

WHAT! Well, first off, you will be so dearly missed. Please just be sure to get us your RSVP by April 26th so we have time to prepare.

Will there be gluten free/dairy free/vegetarian/vegan options?

Yes! Please be sure to mention your dietary restrictions when you RSVP and we will make sure you have delicious alternatives that suits your requirements.

OKAY. Sooo what should I wear?

We love any excuse to get dressed up and to feel/look your best!

Come in your favorite garden semi-formal outfit ~
(google may be your best bet here lol — think: flowy dresses, simple suit jackets, timeless silhouettes, and patterns)

hot tip: please no shorts & stay away from white ;)

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Lots of F U N. And while immediately after the ceremony the family of the couple will be taking pictures, you can head down to the reception area for yard games and where snacks and drinks will be flowing. Dinner will be served roughly around 6PM with dancing to follow until 9:30PM where you’ll be apart of a dazzling send off.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Leo Carrillo Ranch is completely outdoors, please have layers based on your comfort level and whats even better is that the ceremony & reception are located a few steps apart from each other!

What weather should I expect?

Of course we can’t guarantee anything, but they don’t call it sunny San Diego for nothing (pray for sun). Also, feel free to keep an eye on the weather in the weeks leading up to the wedding for your packing needs.

Is there parking available or whats the best mode of transportation?

There is ample parking at Leo Carrillo Ranch for those who feel comfortable driving/carpooling. Lyft/Uber is another great option for those who don’t, just have your driver drop you off in the parking lot.

Is the ceremony/reception wheelchair accessible?

Yes! While, you might have to forgo the red carpet entrance, you’ll end up getting your own special walkway down to the reception area. Leo Carrillo Ranch also has golf carts accessible to help get you from the parking lot to the venue.

Will there be an open bar?

YES, but ONLY if you promise to be on the dance floor! This include soft drink options and non-alcoholic beer.

So you mentioned a 9:30PM send off, but I kiiinda don’t want the night to end! Any ideas on where I should go?

Honestly, we don’t blame you! While we will be heading off to the Seabird Resort to soak in our day together, we hope YOU continue the party elsewhere (well… if you promise to meet us at the beach on sunday.) Leo Carrillo Ranch does have a 10PM end time, so here a few places for late night bites, dancing, or even a dive bar, whatever floats your boat.

Are there any other wedding events I can attend?

YES! We love creating experiences and have set up some fun activities to spend as much time of the weekend with you. Join us on Friday night for a welcome party at our new favorite brewery to kick off the wedding weekend. Then following the wedding, join us for a post-wedding beach hang on Sunday for sun, games, and scenic views.

Okay, I’m sold! Where do you recommend I stay?

Truly, whatever you pick, will be incredible, you can’t go wrong. But to help you out with decision fatigue we narrowed down a few different hotels which you can see them here. Leo Carrillo Ranch is central, so feel free to choose anywhere from Oceanside down to Encinitas!

Can I take & post pictures of your wedding on social media?

PLEASE DO. We love photos and especially seeing the day through your eyes! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony as we’d like that time to be unplugged & we have hired our amazing photographer, Aubrey, that will be taking allll the pictures during that time. Don’t be shy to grab her during the evening, she can snap some stellar photos of you, just trust us, she’s amazing.

For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to take/post pictures and be sure to tag us @itsbrookemichele & @timelsberry — so we can see and repost them as well :)
